National Assembly is the supreme authority of the Disability Council. Each member organization is represented by one delegate and one vote.
National Assembly shall in particular:
- define the objectives of the disability movement in the Czech Republic and finding the ways of their enforcement
- set the CNDC’s dealing strategy at international level, particularly in international organizations of persons with disabilities
- approve the Constitution and its modifications
- set the membership fees
- approve the Activity Report
- approve the National Auditing Commission Report
- approve the Financial Report
- elect and relieve the chairman, two deputy chairmen, ten members of the National Board and members of the National Auditing Commission
- recommend to the National Government the appointment of the CNDC chairman to the position of Deputy Chairman of the Governmental Board for Persons with Disabilities
- recommend to the Chair of the Government Board the appointment of the CNDC first deputy chairman and the three vice chairmen as members of the Governmental Board for Persons with Disabilities
- decide on the dissolution of CNDC and matters associated with the property left after liquidation
